Access to the grinding chamber for cleaning and burr replacement is straightforward. A double fan cooling system with electronic controls and a low RPM (900-1050Hz) protects coffee from excessive temperature exposure during the grinding process. The Electronic TRUE ZERO calibration system ensures consistent grind settings across multiple ZM grinders, maintaining uniformity from one café to another. Digital grind adjustment allows for precise control over the distance between the 83mm flat burrs in microns, contributing to understandable, accurate, and repeatable grind settings. The Mazzer unit includes four pre-programmable buttons for frequently used recipes or dosing times and can store up to 20 grind settings with customised names. The modular system supports various output methods, including direct grinding into a portafilter, use with the quick-connect canister, or the bag holder.
